Every room sends signals your nervous system reads in seconds: ceiling height, light direction, sightline depth, the silence of a wall, the way a doorway frames a view. You feel it the moment you walk in. The problem is that you usually only walk in after the lease is signed.
The lineage
Five thousand years before fMRI, the Sanskrit dwelling sciences catalogued these signals. They named the felt quality a place carries bhāva; the vibration between a person and a space spanda; the diagnostic mark left on the perceiver saṅketa. Modern neuroarchitecture (Edelstein, Ellard, Chatterjee) is exploring kindred questions with cortisol assays and place-cell recordings, in its own terms and with its own methods.

The rental market is the segment where felt quality outweighs financial return, and yet the entire market is built on staged photos, wide-angle lies, and increasingly AI-generated rooms that never existed. We are solving a nervous-system fraud problem, not a real-estate one.
